Your lifestyle, your quirk
Shoes, shoes, and more shoes. There never seems to be a shortage of fabulous shoes, especially in the summertime. This very good thing can actually be bad if you have a weakness for shoes like me.
One style in particular you should check out is the scarf-tie wedge. The wedge continues to be a very popular heel with most designers this season, so there are endless style options for this type of heel. The scarf tie wedge carries on the “fabulous shoes for 2012” parade that has been going on for months. I especially love an embellished shoe, so this shoe trend is getting the thumbs up from me. If you’re looking for a shoe that says, “I am all girl,” this is a shoe style for you.
What I like most about this style of shoe is that it has a sexy ultra-high wedge heel and platform, and the major plus for me is it is really comfortable to wear. The icing on the cake for this shoe style is a scarf-like piece that ties at the ankles in a bow.
Now, I have to give the “scarf” piece two thumbs up all by itself. I am always looking for a comfortable heel that really feels like it won’t fall off or move around on my feet. So this pretty embellishment is as functional as it is fun.
This is a perfect style to work into most wardrobes, since this shoe style is showing up in all of this seasons bright colors, prints and basic colors like black and white. What makes this shoe so interesting is that some styles have matching scarves, and others have scarves that contrast with the shoe. You can work in the mixing trend in addition to simply wearing this hot shoe style.
What I like most about this scarf-tie wedge is it’s a nice wardrobe addition, because it lets you dress up or even change the look of a simple outfit. This shoe is perfect for calling attention to all of the various skirt hemlines and pant leg lengths we are seeing this season. The scarf wedge shoe is so pretty, you will want to show them off every chance you get, but I bet it’s fun when they are tucked under a simple trouser and only you know you have them on.
