New Blue Suede Shoes

Fair or not, it still always seems like we gals have a lot more cool stuff as far as fashion goes. I mainly shop for myself, but I always get a little excited when I come across something cool for you guys. Since I am such a fan of shoes, I could not help but notice a pair of cool shoes in the August issue of Esquire magazine. Guys, if you’re looking for a cool shoe, definitely check out this shoe and the latest offerings from UGGS.

What first got my attention was the shade of blue suede. I wasn’t surprised that UGGS makes shoes for men, but this
style of shoe is a far cry from what this brand is famous for. When I think about UGGS, I am sure I am not alone in envisioning the oversized suede boot that everyone loves to hate. Instead, this shoe is a cool-looking street shoe with laces to boot, pun intended.

Once I went to their site and took a look, I was even more surprised and actually impressed by all of the additions to their offerings for males. I usually notice when they add something new for the girls, but the company has obviously been equally busy adding to their men’s collection. Not only did they have the usual fare for comfort as far as boots and slippers for men, they now have sneakers, thongs, loafers, and boots that can go hiking and face the elements.

What struck me most about the shoe in the ad was it would be a great all-purpose shoe that would meet most women’s approval. This shoe could work with both jeans and khakis, as well as get a little dressed up and go off to work. This shoe, called the Derby by Esquire, would also make a nice alternative to sneakers.

When I see a men’s shoe I like, I often look to see if they come in a size that would work for me. But I can cross it off my list; it’s a little pricey. Esquire lists the price as $325. It’s out of my league, but maybe that is a bargain for a fabulous men’s shoe?
