Six Days of Style
Monday represents different things for different people, but for most fashionistas, it’s that one day of the week where you’re a bit more buttoned up when putting together an outfit. What you wear on Monday is up to you, but if you’re looking for some fun fashions to rock your weekends and other weeknights, check out I Don’t Like Mondays.
The section that tells this website’s story is under construction right now, but don’t let that be a turn off. I am definitely going back to get the whole story about I Don’t Like Mondays, but from the pictures and the list of designer labels and brands, it’s a one-stop shopping site for the very hip, slick, and cool. Most of the brands also have their own websites and sell on other retailers, but this is just one more way to shop for clothes, shoes, and accessories that have the same vibe.
Since I use the word “cool” to describe this website, it should be no big surprise that the primary color on this site
is black, mixed in with a healthy dose of metals, faux fur, and other hot trends we are seeing this season. There are familiar names like Jeffrey Campbell and Alexander Wang, but there are a whole bunch of cool designers and brands that are new to me. Names like Actual Pain, Blessed are the Meek and Cast of Vices practically beg you to check them out.
The site also has a blog that usually flows with what is currently hot in fashion and the media and selling on the site at the time.
The site is a nice mixture of single items and there are pictures of styled outfits. Fans of grunge, Goth, and punk will definitely find what they are looking for, but so will boho chic, hipsters and all-around cool people like you and me. I found several items like a spiked headband that alone normally might have a strictly punk look, because of the way the model is wearing it, it also has a sleek and chic look to it.
