Diablo 3 - Updated Review
The other day I admit that I was quite aggravated with Blizzard for such a terrible launch of Diablo 3, you can read it here. After having some time to think about it, I still uphold that review; if you didn't already buy Diablo 3, don't buy it...YET. It is apparent that Blizzard is going through some growing pains with Diablo 3; this weekend there was another outage and a point where you could not play. Reddit was down as well (oh what shall I ever do?). I did get some time this week to play around in New Tristram, the feel is like the old Diablo games. Do not dare to venture too far from the town, otherwise you will get your ass kicked. So I ventured little by little, increasing my character's stats. I completed the first set of tasks and saw a big baddie. The excitement is still there, the graphics are amazing, and the game is still fun.
So if you already bought the game, enjoy it -- I am. I love how they kept the creepy sound effects in the dungeons. There's no crying baby this time, but it's still just as spooky. It does run a bit slow on my brand-new Macbook Air, but it is still playable.
