Adele’s Secret Marriage

Adele now has it all: family, fame, and fortune. The 24-year-old mega-talent, who has won pretty much every award out there for her music, secretly wed her boyfriend and father of her child, Simon Konecki.

“They did get married, and I was present. It was a fabulous occasion,” one anonymous source confirmed to the media.

“Adele was dressed in a classic attire and Simon looked very smart and joyous.”

I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate the way she’s handled her pregnancy and marriage with the media – as in, she left the media out. Adele showed the world that even one of the most famous people on the planet can live her life on her own terms. So many stars complain about how the paparazzi have invaded every aspect of their personal lives, making it impossible for them to lead a normal life. It seems believable, considering how much we know these days about our favorite stars. So how was Adele able to hide her pregnancy for seven months and get married completely under the radar?

The world had no idea that Adele was expecting her first child, until she announced it personally via her blog. She had even been photographed in public and attended award shows to claim her awards, yet no one questioned her loose-fitting attire.

And now, Adele has gone and gotten hitched without sharing a peep with the public. The rumors only started after the deed was done and she was spotted wearing a gold band on her wedding finger.

This is Adele’s first marriage and Konecki’s second. Konecki, 38, was previously married to fashion stylist Clary Fisher in 2004 and has a child with her. Konecki is the owner of eco-company White.

One source told Life&Style magazine about Adele,  "She’s an old-fashioned girl and can’t wait to be part of a family unit. She just wants to focus on the baby and the man she loves.”

Famous for her three albums all inspired by hard break-ups and heartbreak, we can’t help but wonder what Adele’s next album will sound like, when so much good and happiness has occurred in her life. Don’t hold your breath, however, as the young star has made it clear she wants to take a few years off of work in order to focus on her newfound happiness and family.
