Ashton, What Are You Doing?!

You may need a little background info before we dive right into the big news of the moment. A short time ago, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher divorced, reputedly because K. was cheating on Moore. Now, that’s old news, and most of you probably know that, but for the rest of this story to make sense, you need to know the following:

Moore has a beautiful daughter, Rumer Willis. She’s a vivacious redhead who happens to be completely gorgeous. And that may just be part of the problem. Apparently, Kutcher and Willis have been “seen together” quite a lot in the past couple of weeks. Once, they were seen in a car together, but hid their faces behind their hands to avoid recognition (newsflash: it didn’t work). And while it’s completely normal for celebs to try and maintain a little privacy and secrecy now and again, it’s maybe not so normal that Aston and his ex step-daughter were seen out like this.

If Kutcher and Willis have a totally innocent relationship, then they have absolutely nothing to hide. It’s completely normal for step-parents to maintain a relationship with their stepchildren; I myself have had that experience. In this case, there’d be absolutely nothing for the pair to worry about when seen together in public. And while they may be hiding out because they only want a little privacy, is it something more?

If the two of them are having an affair, or any kind of other relationship, then something is definitely wrong. We can forgive Ashton for his infidelity; the world of Hollywood certainly does, and I can understand how unstable celebrity relationships are. But it’s really messed up if he’s dating his ex-wife’s daughter! And especially so soon. The two haven’t been divorced for a double-digit number of years yet! I can understand a man wanting to date Rumer; she’s gorgeous, fashionable, and intelligent. But now? And this way? Absolutely not.

I sincerely hope that Ashton isn’t dating Rumer. It’d be really disturbing. But hey, celebrities do weird things (anyone remember Gaga’s meat dress?). So it honestly wouldn’t surprise me if it turns out to be true, but oh my goodness, I hope it’s not. Demi needs to be having a heart-to-heart with her baby girl if she hasn’t already. It’ll probably be a few weeks before we know exactly what’s going on, so stay tuned! (And hope for the best; Kutcher’s too cute to stay upset with.)
