Baby #2 For Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr.

Looks like we’re getting another little vampire slayer! Sarah Michelle Gellar, former star of Buffy, The Vampire Slayer, and her husband actor Freddie Prinze Jr. are expecting their second child.

According to Us Magazine, the Prinze family is “thrilled” about their upcoming addition. They are already blissful parents to two-year-old Charlotte Grace.

"[Sarah] and Freddie are thrilled," a friend of the couple told Us magazine. "They're amazing parents."

“Becoming a parent is the most selfless act, and you need to be at a point in your life where you can give up anything and everything for a child,” Gellar told People magazine in 2009 soon after giving birth to Charlotte Grace.

Prinze, 36, and Gellar, 35, met at work, while filming the horror movie I Know What You Did Last Summer in 1997. They remained friends after the movie and started dating in 2000 after they’d planned to meet a mutual friend for dinner and the friend cancelled.

"We decided to have dinner anyway and never looked back,” Gellar told People.

Two years later, the handsome couple married in Mexico despite a 4.6 earthquake hitting their wedding destination. 

Explaining why they waited so long to have children, Gellar said, “When we got married I was still just 26; I met Freddie when I was 23 years old. That is really young. The solid base that we have now, you don't have that when you have been with someone for two years. We have already weathered all these storms. We know this is it; we are a team."

Having reached the 10-year mark, Gellar and Prinze also have one of the longer-lasting marriages in Hollywood. She once explained their “secret” to Health magazine: "We communicate. That's my secret. It's not a secret, but it's how I handle all my good relationships, whether they're male-female or not. If you bottle things up, it explodes on you."

Although Geller is still best known for her six-year role in the television show Buffy the Vampire Slayer, she is currently staring as twin sisters in a new drama on the CW called The Ringer.

While Gellar is busy at work, Prinze has been enjoying his daddy-daughter time with Charlotte Grace.

"He loves it,” Gellar said. “We fight over who gets to stay home. You'd think it would be the opposite, that the parents would be like, 'No, I'll go to work!' but he's like, ‘You stayed home for two years! It's my turn!’ He and Charlotte have too much fun. I'm jealous!"
