Giovanni Ribisi’s Secret Wedding

Giovanni Ribisi was my favorite under-the-radar actors for the longest time. He’s been in numerous big movies, such as Gone in 60 Seconds, Saving Private Ryan, Lost in Translation, The Mod Squad, Boiler Room, and Ted. He even played Phoebe’s quirky brother on Friends, yet he is not quite a household name. Ribisi has managed to stay out of the gossip spotlight due to a lack of public drama or stunts…but that has all changed in the past two months.

Ribisi, 37, made headlines in June for his surprise nuptials to British supermodel Agyness Deyn, 27. The wedding came as a complete surprise to everyone – even Deyn’s family. It has been reported that her sister was the only family member alerted about the wedding, and even she was not given much notice.

A source claiming to know Deyn told the media, “Even her family didn't have a clue. Only her sister Emily was let in on the secret right at the last minute.”

“It was a total shock. There's no denying Agyness being married is all very new to her family. She has always been very close to them. They're all hoping they can meet up soon,” the source continued.

The two married at the Los Angeles County Registrar. They were spotted kissing passionately while in line, and when a reporter asked, they admitted they were getting married. 

Just one day after his wedding was announced, Ribisi was photographed looking pretty P.O’d outside a police station with his pink-haired daughter, 14-year-old Lucia Santina. There’s no news about why the pair was there, although they spent more than an hour inside and left in different cars (to avoid paparazzi).

Deyn was spotted out in public for the first time since her wedding, although she was sans Ribisi. Deyn was photographed on a casual walking date with a girlfriend and her friend’s baby. Perhaps she was in need of some advice from a close friend after all the changes she’s recently been through.

The same anonymous source as above commented, “It was a really whirlwind romance and having tied the knot and moved in together, Agyness has realized they don't actually know all that much about each other.”

The source continued, explaining that the couple realizes they’ve moved fast but are taking the necessary steps to do things right and make it work.

“They have been talking long into the night about their lives and loves and are all learning all sorts about each other. They seem to have cut the outside world out in order to do so.”
