Jenny McCarthy Playboy Cover Revealed

Jenny McCarthy’s latest Playboy cover was revealed this week, and…wowza! This 39-year-old has only gotten hotter since her first Playboy cover 19 years ago. Seriously, Miss McCarthy looks gorgeous with her platinum blonde hair down and in one large curl at the bottom; she looks quite old-fashioned and classy, even though the rest of her outfit consists only of fingerless fishnet gloves and thigh-high black suede boots.

McCarthy seems excited about the issue and ready for the world to see how well she’s aging.

“I’m really proud of it,” she told People magazine. "The pictures are really gorgeous and classy. They really could be out of W magazine. They're really elegant. It's probably a lot more sophisticated than a lot of the stuff you'd see of people with their clothes on."

McCarthy started her career as a Playboy bunny, first posing for the magazine in 1993. She was paid $20,000 for the shoot and was dubbed Playmate of the Month. When she was later named Playmate of the Year, she received a salary of $100,000. It has not been released what she will be making this time around.

In the 19 years since McCarthy first posed for the men’s magazine, she has had many changes in her life and body, like becoming a mother. She also currently hosts the NBC show Love in The Wild. The model-actress-television personality isn’t afraid of her slightly fuller body these days (which is still much leaner than that of your average mom), however, despite the pressure she certainly feels in her profession.

"The one thing I like about Playboy is they don't have the anorexic look. The women are voluptuous. So I didn't really want to diet. I just wanted to tone up."

McCarthy has also addressed this point in past interviews, saying, “You're always gonna have your anorexics and you're always gonna have your bulimics," she said. "I'm hoping that young girls will look up to the girls that are the size 4, 6, and 8s, and know that super super skinny is not pretty – just ask any guy!"
