LeBeouf Bares All – Again

Shia LeBeouf threw us for a loop this past June when he starred – buck naked – in an artsy music video for the Icelandic indie band Sigur Rós. LeBeouf was clearly trying out a different level of his acting skills and showing just how artsy he could be. Well, he either considers himself a full-fledged “artist” now, or perhaps he is trying to break into another type of film career, but LeBouf, 26, just announced that his next film will feature him in unsimulated sex scenes.

I don’t seem to be the only one unhappy to hear this, as LeBeouf’s girlfriend of nearly two years was seen having a very public, tearful argument with him on the day the news about his new film came out. A series of paparazzi photos show LeBeouf’s sweetie, 23-year-old Karolyn Pho, crying and looking generally upset as she interacts with LeBeouf near their car and, later, sitting side by side on a curb.

Even thought I can’t figure out what about LeBeouf may be attracting Pho in the first place, I can’t blame the girl for being upset that her boyfriend is choosing to sleep with another woman, professional “obligation” or not. What woman wouldn’t be mad about that?

The paparazzi pictures show the couple apparently working through the issue, as they were eventually seen sitting and smoking a cigarette together, Pho with her arm around LeBeouf (although it probably should have been the other way around).

LaBeouf’s upcoming project is appropriately titled The Nymphomaniac, and follows a woman through her sexual life. The film will be directed by Lars von Trier, who apparently has the cast in the palm of his hand.

“I've seen Intimacy (a 2001 film that also including unsimulated sex scenes),” LaBeouf told MTV in a recent interview. “[Von Trier is] talking about something different ... It's going to be a wild movie.”

“[The Nymphomaniac] is what you think it is,” LaBeouf said. “There's a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says, we're doing [the sex] for real ... and anything that is illegal will be shot in blurred images, but other than that, everything is happening.”

LaBeouf also said Von Trier “is very dangerous. He's the most dangerous dude that I've ever showed up for.”

The young actor also admitted, “I'm terrified. I'm so terrified, which is why I have to go. We'll see what happens.”

LaBeouf will be co-starring with Nicole Kidman and Charlotte Gainsbourg, although it is not clear which – if either – of these women is whom LaBeouf will be sleeping with. Some of LaBeouf’s male costars include Stellan Skarsgard and Willem Dafoe.
