Locklear vs. Wagner: Now it’s Physical

According to reports, Heather Locklear and Jack Wagner had a very heated argument in late December, which allegedly turned into a physical contest, requiring an emergency call to law enforcement. Neither celebrity wanted to press charges when police arrived at Wagner’s San Fernando Valley home, where a source claims Locklear apparently “lost it,” sparking retaliation.  The Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office has still ordered both quarreling participants to present their cases in order to determine if any charges will in fact be filed, or the incident will not become a legal issue. When violence is reported, either of the people involved can technically receive charges of criminal battery.  It is unclear whether or not there will be a prosecution, although sources are saying that the hearing will be informal, and further legal action should not be pursued. No charges are expected to be filed, and the situation will remain between Locklear and Wagner.  Scheduled for the end of the month, the hearing will hopefully allow the sparring celebrities a chance to move past whatever problems they are facing. Locklear was recently rushed to a hospital after consuming an alarming combination of alcohol and prescription drugs.  Fans supporting the Melrose Place actress will also look for 2012 to be a year of recovery and healing.
