Prince Harry Under Fire for Nude Pics

It is normal to act out in your teenage years – even rebel – to establish your independence and help determine the image you want to portray as you transition into adulthood. This general understanding is all well and good in our culture, but it clearly does not apply when you’re 27 years old and a member of the British royal family. Not just any member either – but a prince.

Prince Harry, who has always had the reputation for being the more outgoing and rebellious son of the late Princess Diana, has pushed the envelope too far this time and has thoroughly embarrassed himself and his famous family. Photos of the Harry buck naked and causing a ruckus during a wild Las Vegas night with his boys have surfaced and are bringing a lot of heat down on the young royal.

The fateful night started out as a typical Vegas gathering of friends, with just a few drinks and some laughs. However, Harry and his pals then decided to invite some pretty ladies up to his VIP suite and proceeded to drink more and engage in a friendly game of strip billiards.

For whatever reason, Harry’s security detail (who we can all safely bet are no longer employed) failed to collect cell phones and cameras from the individuals attending Harry’s little party, and multiple incriminating photos were taken and later shared. Some pictures are as innocent as the prince swimming and “racing” Olympic swimmer Ryan Lotche, while other photos, presumably taken a little later in the night, show the naked prince with his hands covering his manly bits (and an unknown female standing behind him also cupping the royal jewels), as well as the money-maker photo of Harry…we’ll say “bearhugging”…an unknown female from behind.

Soon after the pictures surfaced, a rep for the royal family said, of course, "We have no comment to make on the photos at this time."

One “royal insider” said Harry’s older brother and future King of England, William was
“not impressed” by the pictures. His grandmother, the Queen of England, and his father, Prince Charles, are also likely extremely disappointed and embarrassed, but don’t expect a public statement from them.

Harry will also have to answer to the military, as he is an officer and a helicopter pilot.

On the up side, if Harry does ever decide to settle down and get married, he won’t have to worry about his bachelor party – he already had it!
