Travolta and Preston React to Rumors with a Kiss

John Travolta and Kelly Preston showed the world that they are not letting the recent multiple allegations against Travolta of sexual assault on men ruin their relationship without saying a single word to the press.

The couple simple acted as they always have in the past, appearing on the red carpet together for the premiere of Travolta’s latest movie, Savages, holding hands, smiling, and even offering up some kisses in front of the camera. Travolta’s dark suit and purple shirt and tie perfectly matched his wife’s stunning sleeveless purple dress with sequined details. Despite all the rumors floating around, they looked like a very happily married couple. If it’s all an act, they are very good at their trade.

Although the pair is not honoring the rumors by responding to them in the media, they did not shy away from fans and happily posed for pictures along the carpet as they headed into the theater.

The rumors currently bombarding Travolta include multiple men accusing him of sexual assault and battery. It started this spring, when two male masseuses made separate claims about Travolta propositioning them for sex. Both suits have since been dropped.

Cruise ship employee Fabian Zanzi is the most recent man to come forward, claiming Travolta ordered room service while on the cruise boat in 2009 and specifically asked Zanzi to deliver it. Zanzi claims that when he arrived, the actor requested a very inappropriate massage from him, then later tried to pay him off to keep quiet about the ordeal. Zanzi is suing for unspecified damages.

Travolta's attorney publically dismissed Zanzi’s claims through a statement, saying, "This is another ludicrous lawsuit with inane claims."

Travolta, through his lawyer, has denied each claim as it came forward.

Why the world is so fascinated with Travolta’s sexual orientation is a mystery. It seems mean spirited and unfair, especially to publically pick on a man who just lost his 16-year-old son to an accidental death during a seizure in 2009, and just welcomed a new baby boy, Benjamin, with Preston in 2010.

Perhaps I’m just optimistic about my favorite actor as a child, but it seems Travolta has had a bit too much going on in his personal life the last three years to have time for numerous extramarital trysts.
