The Week of Baby Confirmations

Well, two non-mysteries were put to rest this week as two top female Hollywood stars confirm what we already knew – Reese Witherspoon and Megan Fox are both pregnant.

Reese has not tried to hide her pregnancy up until now, frequently being photographed on her daily walks and hikes in exercise gear that clearly showed her blossoming bump. Still, the 36-year-old actress had not verbally confirmed the pregnancy to the media.

When asked what her plans are after she finishes shooting Devil’s Knot with Colin Firth, Reese responded, "I'm going to take a little time off – and go have a baby."

Looking lovely in a dark blue dress that flowed to allow room for her belly, she also volunteered to reporters that she was feeling "very round," and added, "I'm always feeling like I'd like to eat everything in sight."

This will be Reese’s first child with new husband Jim Toth. She also has two children, 12-year-old Ava and 8-year-old Deacon, with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe. Phillippe and Witherspoon were married for seven years, divorcing in 2006. She married Toth last year at her country estate in California.

Another gorgeous celebrity who outed herself as a first-time mama-to-be is Megan Fox. Speculation about Megan’s pregnancy has been circulating for months, but she and her husband actor Brian Austin Greene have been extremely guarded about the news and refused to discuss it with the media. They have been dodging cameras for weeks, with Brian often photographed standing in front of his wife protectively to cover any shots of a possible bump.

Now, on their own terms, Megan and Brian have decided to share their joy with fans via a photo shoot of them in Hawaii on the same beach they were married on in an intimate ceremony in 2010. The photos were released in People magazine. The 26-year-old Transformers actress looks radiant in the pictures, wearing a skimpy leopard print bikini top and a long flowing white skirt. Her midsection is on full display and still looks impossibly narrow and tight for a pregnant woman. There is no doubt that she will be back to pre-baby shape before we even get a glimpse of the gorgeous baby.

Although this is Megan and Brian’s first child together, Brian already has a 10-year-old son named Kassius, with former girlfriend Vanessa Marcil.
