Zach Galifianakis – Married!

If I can’t meet and be BFFs with my favorite comedian, I guess I will settle for him getting married on my birthday. A hearty congratulations is in order to funnyman Zach Galifianakis, 42, and his bride Quinn Lundberg, 29, who were married last weekend, August 11.

Zach and Quinn were married in Vancouver, British Columbia in a small, short ceremony. The rehearsal dinner was held the night before the nuptials at the Tea House in Vancouver’s Stanley Park.

“The wedding ceremony was held at UBC Farm at 4 p.m. It was super private and intimate and only lasted about 30 minutes - everyone was out by 5 p.m.," one insider told Us Weekly.

Zach and Quinn became engaged earlier this year, and wedding invitations were sent out just two months ago.

"The wedding invite is very Zach," one source said. "While it has the formal and standard details of who, what, when, where – including Zach's full name, Zachary Knight Galifianakis, and his fiancée’s, Mary Quinn Lundberg – it is also very funny. Zach included a drawing of himself and his bride-to-be on the invite. He made sure he looked like a little troll, while Quinn is a stunning tall blonde princess."

Zach described his better half in his typical funny manner, sounding like a teenager when he looks like a burly mountain man. “Quinn is the coolest,” Zach told Rolling Stone last year. “The coolest.”

The pair are also co-founders of the charity Growing Voices, “An online forum dedicated to supporting community-based projects and organizations that encourage development and reconstruction at the local level.”

What’s next for the couple? Kids, probably. If they’re going to meet Zach’s expectations for a family, they better get crackin’!

"I've been wanting kids for 10 years," Zach has said. "I'd love to adopt, have them naturally – all of it. I want, like, 15."

Quinn is a humanitarian, having graduated in 2010 with a BA in International Conflict Resolution. She has volunteered for UNICEF and has traveled through Afghanistan, Bosnia and Africa. She currently manages the Growing Voices headquarters in New York.

Zach, who originally hails from North Carolina, is best known for his stand-up comedy – including his own episode of Comedy Central Presents – and hilarious roles in the films The Hangover (Part I & II) and Due Date.

Conongrats again to the happy couple! We’re looking forward to some cute little Galifianakis’s.
