Dawn is Breaking for the Second Time

Oh Twilight Saga, how we love thee. Well, the teenage girl population of America seems to be infatuated with you, at any rate. Sometimes I just can’t understand why. But I’m not here to bash Twilight (though it’d be fun!). While it’s not the deepest, or best by any stretch of the imagination, it is very popular, and there are reasons behind it.

New hysteria has begun over the newest and last edition to the story. The “Breaking Dawn, Part Two” trailer has been released, and everybody’s been talking about it for some weeks now. In this movie, Bella is going to be reborn as a vampire, and we will meet Renesmee, Edward and Bella’s child, for the very first time. The kid came into this world under some pretty stressful circumstances, so we’re all excited to see what she looks like.

We also wonder what Bella will look like. Of course, we’ve seen the pictures, but Vampire!Bella is supposed to be graceful, deadly, and beautiful. Beautiful, Kristen Stewart can do. Graceful? I don’t know. She’s got a very limited amount of facial expression. She’s a little clumsy. But that’s part of her character as Bella, and we all know that. However, will she be able to transition into her new role? She’s certainly out doing more fierce roles in other movies. Stewart’s starring in Snow White and the Huntsman as the vengeful warrior. It’s similar in that the roles require a bit more strength.

As for the rest of the characters, they’ll be staying pretty much the same. Edward will become a father. The biggest change in Jacob will be that he’s going to imprint on Renesmee, so he won’t be fawning after Bella anymore. No more whining, thank God!

I’m very skeptical about the new Twilight movie, but I do wish it great success. It’s due out this November, and as the summer draws to a close, the mayhem and mania surrounding it will increase to a fever pitch. I am not looking forward to that. That’s just the way of the road, as my friend says. We’ll deal with it. Until then!
