Five Favorite Things on Pinterest Today
This will only be a newsflash if you’ve been living with the computer-less Amish for the past six months, but here we go: Pinterest is an online force to be reckoned with. The social media platform has quickly become a hugely popular site for sharing images and videos that inspire – and it’s fast becoming a major referral site for many popular blogs, websites and retailers.
Like 99% of women my age, I can’t seem to stay off Pinterest. I love to browse through its clean display for “pins” to inspire me to eat better, dress better, feel better… it’s become an edited selection of the innumerable things posted on the internet, and I appreciate its streamlined access to the best of the net’s recipes, make-up tutorials, products and brilliant ideas.
Of course, there’s a lot (I repeat: a lot) to see on Pinterest, and not a lot of time for most busy ladies and gents. So I’ve selected some must-sees for you. Here are my five favorite “pins” of the day:

Skinny Funfetti Cupcakes 1.5 Weight Watchers Points 2 Ingredients Only!
I have a major sweet tooth – and increasingly, my thighs have the flab to match those cravings. Summer has officially arrived, and if I wasn’t keeping tabs on my diet before, I am now. Like most women, I’m watching my weight – but damn it, I also deserve a cupcake at the end of the day (am I right?). Enter this brilliant recipe for Funfetti cupcakes that are only two Weight Watchers points. And all you need are two ingredients. There couldn’t be an easier way for this lazy, sweets-loving girl to get her dessert on while on a diet.

World’s Fastest Workout
While we’re on the subject of getting fit (for the lazy, obviously), I give you my next favorite pin: The “world’s fastest workout.” I’m pretty sure they didn’t check with me to verify they’d beat my record (walking to the fridge and back to the couch in 30 seconds counts as a workout, right?), but I’ll cut them some slack. Now, this pin gives you a four-minute workout that claims to burn as many calories as a 40-60 minute run. Whoa! That’s a pretty amazing claim. I have no way to verify its accuracy, but I have tried this workout, and trust me, it isn’t easy just because it’s only the length of one Beyoncé song.

Grab-and-Go Salad Lunch in a Jar!
The key to eating well is planning well. If you have healthy lunches ready to grab from the fridge and go – even when you’re running 10 minutes behind and have a screaming toddler in tow – you will resist the urge to dial Jimmy John’s come lunchtime. This salad-in-a-jar idea makes pre-packing your lunch (or dinner or snack!) even simpler because you can do it 4 days in advance! This salad will stay fresh for four days in the fridge because everything is broken down and separated in layers. Just shake it up when you’re ready to eat!

Real Simple’s 50 All-Time Favorite New Uses for Old Things
This list of 50 new uses for old things will have you holding on to your old ketchup bottles and stale popcorn. Just don’t become a hoarder in the process – we don’t think the clutter-free perfectionists at Real Simple would approve of your newspaper fort and wrapper collection.

Homemade Deep Pore Clearer
Though this women’s “I’ll cut you” expression kind of freaked me out at first, I couldn’t resist a pin that promised to clear out my pore junk on the cheap. Your pores can never be too clean and clear, but Biore strips and professionals facials add up – this recipe for at-home pore strips is easy and wallet-friendly.
