Megan Fox Had a Baby

We know that Megan Fox was pregnant, and we know that she and husband Brian Austin Green are private people, but did you know that she had the baby almost a month ago?

Noah Shannon Green is the first child of Megan Fox and the second for her husband, Brian Austin Green, who has a 10-year-old son with Vanessa Marcil.

Though she sort of announced her pregnancy by flaunting her bump while wearing a bikini in Hawaii back in June, Fox and Green avoided confirming the pregnancy verbally. Even in September, when she looked like she was smuggling a basketball in her shirt, she was trying to hide her belly with an oversized purse and an umbrella while getting lunch with Green. It should be noted that it was a sunny day and the umbrella was open. Nope, nothing strange there. At the time, The Daily Mail estimated that Fox has less than a month until her due date – she gave birth just days later.

As her bump grew, Fox tweeted openly about preparing a nursery, having cravings, and worrying about fitting into “my before prego clothes… after my angel is here.” Even on October 16th, Fox retweeted a reply to one of her tweets (about wanting a Snickers) that suggested she was still pregnant. The tweet from a fan read “you don’t mess with a pregnant woman and her [S]nickers.”

After news outlets started to announce that she’d had the baby a month ago, Fox took to her Facebook page to announce the birth herself. She may have also given a reason for the delay in announcing the happy news. “We have been very lucky to have had a peaceful few weeks at home, but I would like to release this myself before others do,” Fox wrote. “I gave birth to our son Noah Shannon Green on September 27th.” She added that the new addition is “healthy, happy, and perfect.”

A few weeks of privacy was probably the new parents’ aim all along. By not commenting on the pregnancy to reporters, they never gave the due date away. Covering her bump in the last few days of the pregnancy was likely meant to hide exactly how close she was to delivering. Hiding the due date meant that they avoided having paparazzi camped outside of their home around the time of the due date. It must have worked, because no one got wind of baby Green until now.

We wish all the best for the new family. Lots of health, happiness, and hopefully more privacy.
