The Biggest Mystery Has Been Solved

Growing up, we all heard the question, "What came first? The chicken or the egg?" Well, it appears that question has been answered!

This week in Sri Lanka, a chick was born without an egg. You heard that right; a chicken gave birth to a chick with no egg. This is the first recorded case involving such a birth with a chicken, and unfortunately, the mother did not survive. Upon further investigation, the chick was fully formed and incubated within its mother and hatched inside. An examination of the mother proved that she died of internal wounds from the birth.

So now when someone asks you that question, you can certainly say the answer is CHICKEN!
