Freelance Writers Wanted

As of 7/4/2012, we're looking for writers to tackle various subjects, including:

- Gaming (game reviews, coverage of what's coming up in the gaming world, walkthroughs, tips and tricks, anything game-related)

- Sports (not dry sports rundown. . .coverage of various personalities, speculation, etc.)

- Music

- Movies & TV recaps

- Subcultures like cosplay, New Age, Otherkin, etc.

- Current events

- Tech (Microsoft, Apple, Samsung, all those fun gadgets)

Depending on how much you want to write, you'll receive a mixture of assignments and be free to pursue topics that interest you.

The pay isn't terrific, so don't come into this looking for full-time work. It is a way for you to dip your toe in the water to see how you like writing for a lifestyle magazine and to build up your portfolio. We can't afford to pay much at the moment: $5/article. Clearly this isn't full-time work, though if you can crank out ten articles a week or more, it'll certainly pay for your coffee habit, if you have one. You'll be paid weekly via PayPal, and you'll get a byline and bio.

Send some clips to jobs@stylequirk.com, and tell us a bit about yourself. We'll get back to you soon!
