I Don’t Get Weddings

I’m just going to say it: I don’t understand weddings.

I get marriage just fine. You love someone, want to pledge yourself to them eternally, tie the knot, kiss-kiss, very romantic. It’s a nice evolution of what used to be a straight-up business transaction. I am not anti-marriage in any sense of the word.

In Light of a Tragedy

It feels like you can find examples of women acting trashy everywhere you look: on Twitter, female celebrities feud and start catfights. On Facebook, in bars, everywhere! Women are just catty. But what’s wrong with us? Don’t we have enough problems trying to match our clothes and deal with boys? Why make it harder on ourselves by fighting with each other? Cyber bullying is at an all-time high, women are beginning to petition against unfair expectations from the modeling and beauty industry, and girls everywhere are donning crazy outfits and heading out like it’s nothing.Read More »
