Best of the #FakeDarkNightSpoiler Hashtag!

A few days ago, Jimmy Fallon’s show featured his favorite picks from the hashtag he started on Twitter. “#fakedarkknightspoiler” has caught on and people all over the place are tweeting their ideas for hilarious Batman spoofs and fake spoilers. Hashtags are trends on Twitter. You use the “#” sign to denote the trend you’re going to be specifying in your tweet. Let’s say your tweet is about something terrible that happened to you. You might say, “Got in a car wreck today, #fml.”

So Fallon started this trend, and he wanted people to talk about funny Batman movie plots, which they did. I feel that it’s appropriate at this point to mention the terrible shooting that occurred in the Colorado theater at the midnight premiere of Batman. While this is meant to be a humorous article, I wish no disrespect to the grieving families by mentioning funny Batman references. I hope everyone understands that this article in no way is meant to offend the loved ones of the lost.

With that said, here we go!

I’ll start off my mentioning some of the tweets Fallon featured on his own Twitter page. Last night on the show, he even read some of the most popular ones to the audience. Very funny.
