Best Pins of the Day

Since I’ve started to do this segment, I really enjoy it. Pinterest has only recently become an obsession of mine, and I can’t stop! I love the clothes, the food, the crafts…so it would only stand to reason that I love to share them! Here are some popular pins I’ve found today, and a few of my own favorites. Enjoy!

  1. This picture, pinned by The Monkey King, depicts Chinese food and what each type symbolizes. For example, sliced carrots are reminiscent of gold coins, thus signifying good luck and wealth. Bean curd sticks represent blessings to the house. Pretty cool, right?
  2. This tutorial, pinned by Alisssa Breitenstein, shows you how to make a t-shirt similar to J. Crew’s fluttery-flowery style. Definitely a money-saver, and super cute!
  3. This pin, posted by Raymonde Athans, has dozens of motivational sentences to inspire you to be healthy. “I’ll surprise myself,” it reads. “I’ll beat the odds.” This pin is titled, “In Case You Run Out of Motivation.”
  4. Pinterest is all about the pretty landscapes, and this photo of an autumn walk posted by Brianna P. is no different. The leaves are so gorgeous! It reminds me of New England.
  5. How sweet is this Batman nail art posted by daysi alvardo? The link is a bit decrepit, but I’m going to guess you need long false nails and then cut them into the “Batman” shape.
  6. This pin, by Lucy Loo, features whimsical Oriental lanterns with butterflies attached. I bet this would look cute in a dorm room!
  7. One of those cheeky things people like to say. It’s true though: cursive is so obsolete. Pinned by Laura Inman.
  8. Maybe some more dorm inspiration? This comforter, pinned by Ashley Jahrling, comforter looks really similar to the one I bought for college. You could match this with black, yellow, gray, white, or maybe even tan, so it’s definitely versatile! If you want a more natural, outdoor look for you room, this completely works.

Once again, I’m lost on Pinterest and loving every minute of it! It’s probably the single most inspiring website of all time. I hope you all have a wonderful week and that you keep finding amazing things to talk about on the Web. Happy pinning!
