Best Pins of the Day

I love Pinterest more than any other site, mostly because it fuels a lot of my crafting and creativity. There are all sorts of things to be found, and you can share your ideas, inspiration, and tips with virtually anyone. That’s part of the reason I enjoy bringing my favorite pins to you!

At least once a week, I rummage through the site to find the best pins of the day and bring them to you. Today is that day again! Ready? Here we go.

  1. Oh, my goodness! This picture! I had to share it. It’s a little baby giraffe being bottle fed by someone. At first glance, I thought it was a little deer or a squirrel, because it’s so small. But it’s a wee little giraffe. Baby giraffes are called calves, just like baby cows.
  2. I’m sharing this pin for a couple of reasons. It’s a page full of DIY scrubs to make and give as gifts. The first reason I’m sharing is because exfoliation can be particularly important as the weather gets colder, and you may need to do it more often. The second is because not only is Christmas coming up soon, but some people want to give alternative gifts for Halloween instead of candy.
  3. Here's a great pin that shows really cute turkey “suckers.” They’re made out of Nutter Butters and candy, so they’re pretty high in sugar, but would be so cute for Thanksgiving and fall parties or for gifts!
  4. I’m sharing this pin because everyone needs some easy fall fashion inspiration! This outfit would work easily for class or any other casual, everyday occasion. If you added heels and dressy pants, you could take it to the office, as well! The key here is remembering to unbutton your shirt the appropriate amount (no, I’m not saying you should show cleavage. Save that for your naughty Halloween costume). If you’re wearing a fairly low-cut sweater and add a button-up shirt underneath, it should be unbuttoned enough that the shirt lays against the sweater, not buttoned up to your neck. It’ll look ridiculous (trust me…not that I’m speaking from embarrassing personal experience here or anything…*cough hack*)! If you have a higher-necked top layer, button it all the way for that cute Peter Pan collar effect.

I hope you enjoy today’s batch, and happy pinning!
