Funniest People on Twitter

Twitter is a great place to hang out, learn interesting things, gossip, and more. It can be used quite comically! Several comedians have Twitter accounts, and whether or not they post jokes online, it’s still fun to follow them and see what they’re up to. Plus, you get to see exclusive updates about shows and events! I’ve put together a list of funny people and accounts to follow on Twitter – it may be a comedian with an account, or someone who posts actual jokes. Either way, follow and enjoy!

1. Daniel Tosh @danieltosh – Yes, the foul-mouthed comic and mastermind behind hit show Tosh.0 is on Twitter! Follow his every move and preview upcoming material, plus laugh at his sarcastic humor.  An example of his tweeting habits: ”dont know if the coyotes that got into my backyard follow me on twitter, but if you go near my pups again i will gut your whole family.”
2. That Awkward Moment @SoVeryAwkard The profile photo for this account gives it all away: Socially Awkward Penguin (if you don’t know him, check his bio here:) This is just a collection of awkward moments that will make you wince. “That awkward moment when…” is the general theme going here.
3. Shi*t My Dad Says @sh*tmydadsays – A wonderfully funny Twitter classic – rated R! But hilarious. One of his tweets: "I turn the kitchen faucet on and the shower burns you, yes, I get it...No, I'm not gonna stop, I'm just saying yes, I get that concept."
4. Stephen Colbert @Stephenathome – The TV icon and general funnyman also has a Twitter account; he tweets things like, “if a clown offers you a hamburger, and it's not ronald mcdonald, do not eat the hamburger. learned that the hard way.”
5. Texts From Last Night @TFLN This is a hilarious, pretty absurd collection of texts that were obviously sent from people who were very messed up. ” dude when I get home wanna help me fulfill my dream of smoking a bowl out of my saxophone?” and “Male strippers are involved. You are coming” are some of my favorites.
6. Russell Brand @rustyrockets – He doesn’t’ post a lot of his own jokes, but Russell does let you know about upcoming shows and posts pictures occasionally.
