Viral Videos of the Week

Every week here at SQ, we like to break down the most popular videos of the week so you can keep up with the wide web! It certainly is a big world out there, and it’s time-consuming to peruse YouTube and dig up great clips. That’s why we’re doing it for you.

1.       adidas | David Beckham pops up at the #takethestage photobooth

This is a short video compilation showing fans in Westfield Stratford City, taking pictures and making funny faces. They were invited to show their support…and so was David Beckham. He shows up in the middle of the photo shoot and surprises the people taking pictures. Their reactions are varied, but all are surprised and happy.

2.       Near Death at Sea World

While this clip is from 2006, it was only recently uploaded and has already received over three hundred thousand views.The video has been described as “chilling,” and shows the aggressive behavior of a killer whale towards a trainer. The whale grabs the trainer’s foot and drags him underwater for quite a long period of time. He is eventually “let up” for air, but is dragged under several more times. The trainer escapes without serious injury, though he is tended by paramedics.

3.       EPIC BALL PUMP PRANK - part 2

This is a pretty popular, perverted prank video. I can’t go into explicit detail, but … well, let me put it this way. At the end of the clip, a security officer comes over to investigate what the guy and the girl are doing, all hunkered over in a dark alley. Many people have disgusted looks on their faces, or even stop to inquire of the couple what it is they’re doing. It involves on basketball, one air pump, and some awkward angling.

4.       BETTER THAN BIEBER?

This West African singer/songwriter has been labeled as “better than Bieber.” Is it true? The comments are pretty positive, saying things like, “I haven't ever heard Bieber singing this song, but I imagine you are better” and, “Good job.” Most people seem to think the singer IS better than Justin Beiber, so who knows where he’ll go?
