Rock 2012’s Warm Weather in Rock Star Jeans: Hudson Jeans

In addition to appealing to your sense of style, lots of brands use different ways to get your attention and let you know just how cool their jeans are, and provide some tips on dos, dont’s, and maybes. Over the past couple of years, it has become a common practice to recruit someone in the public eye to deliver the message. Who is better than an actual ’70s fashion icon or legendary rocker to give a hip company direction on producing a line of fabulous jeans that have a cool retro flavor? If you can’t get an actual icon, go for his daughter.

Georgia May Jagger, daughter of rock icon Mick Jagger and his wife, and muse, model Jerry Hall, was recruited to be the inspiration and face for one of the collections from Hudson Jeans. Hudson Jeans arrived on the fashion scene in 2002, and is still making quite a name for itself in the fashion world of jeans. Hudson’s philosophy that the right pair of jeans should be both flattering and lavishly comfortable no doubt helped make them a fashion favorite among celebrities like Angelina Jolie and David Beckham. Don’t call me a hater, but since I am on the curvy side, I will probably pass on this jeans brand, and of course my heart belongs to Levis, but if you’re long, lean, and looking for a very cool jean, then definitely check out this line. In addition to with having an impressive celebrity fan list, Hudson jeans are known for their fit and craftsmanship. Because of this jean’s rock star and model-worthy status, it made perfect sense to tap the fashionista offspring of two celebrity and style icons of the ’60s and ’70s for direction. Having Georgia on board is rather genius; it brings this line’s appeal to a large audience. It’s probably in the genes, pardon the pun; Georgia had to have inherited a cool sense of style, or maybe it just rubbed off over the years. Georgia Jagger must have grown up in fashionista hog heaven. Jerry Hall probably has an amazing closet to raid, and I would not be surprised if Georgia dipped into her dad’s wardrobe too. These jeans are a bit pricey, and I am not tall enough to do them justice, but they are white hot and worthy of at least trying on for a rock star moment. Check out all the cools styles and washes that are right on time: white, dark, and light wash, skinny, flared, and cargo.
