Khloe Kardashian Dishes to Cosmo on Celebrity Life

Oh, the trials and tribulations of being a Kardashian sister! The millions of dollars, constant attention, being considered a sex symbol off last name alone… it must be so hard. According to the younger Kardashian star, Khloe Kardashian-Odom, it is. Khloe adorns the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine this month alongside the comments that she is “ballsy, confident, and funny as hell." She opens up to Cosmo, speaking on what it’s like being famous for…um, we’re not quite sure what she did to become to famous, other than be Kim Kardashian’s sister…and have the Hollywood standards to measure up to. Khloe and her sisters Kim and Kourtney are all managed by their mother, Kris Jenner. Khloe admits that her mom is strict and brutally honest with her about meeting Hollywood expectations. "Listen, my mom believes in us more than we believe in ourselves. But she is also our manager and trying to protect our brand. She'll say, 'Oh, you're a little too fat right now.' If she were just my manager, I'd have fired her right then. You can't talk to me like that." Khloe has shared her struggle with her weight throughout her time on television, making her all the more relatable to the average American woman. Khloe has also had to recently endure moving her Hollywood lifestyle to a state that could probably not be any more different from California. Khloe took the plunge and moved to Texas to support her NBA player husband, Lamar, after he was suddenly traded by the L.A. Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks at the end of 2011. Khloe told the Associated Press in February, "Moving in general is stressful, so moving to a state that I've never been is stressful. Then when your husband's having a very emotional transition, that's like adding one more layer to this. Then I'm having the camera crew film and for them, they love it. They're like, 'This is gold!' I'm like, 'Can't you just leave us alone for one week?' But, you know, that's what you know we signed up for." Khloe and Lamar have a reality show, creatively titled Khloe and Lamar, which is a spinoff from Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, which is a spinoff of the original Kardashian reality series Keeping Up With the Kardashians. This is Khloe’s second Cosmo cover, and she seems sincerely surprised and grateful for the opportunity. "Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would be on the cover of Cosmo because I never knew it was an option.
